Can one play destroy an ego? I guess we'll find out. He seems to have a laser lock on Owens. Owens lack of concentration hurt them last year as much as his public rants another team. Glenn is an excellent receiver and can be more of a contributor. He also has fewer drops. Romo in my eyes is a risk. Maybe I'm prejudiced against the Cowboys, but, I don't think they're the team everyone thinks they are. I like Coach Phillips, but, as a coordinator. His last job in the top spot did not work out. He seems to be the weak pick, the controllable commodity that Jones wants. We'll see. Maybe he's a fighter, that's been champing at the bit for a second chance. Will Terrell Owens maintain composure this year and not melt down the team? Will he maintain concentration and catch the important balls? Will this offense gel and get better then last year? I'm not so sure. I'm not excited about the Barber/Jones R.B.B.C. In fact I'm not so sure about the R.B.B.C. They actually have an even schedule and could dominate it. Romo is a rising star, but, Owens raises everyone's numbers. At 6'0" he's kind of short and his numbers are no better then many other taller, more talented QBs. Honestly, I think Washington will win the series and the division this year. So, what do I know. If McNabb stays healthy then Philadelphia will crush. But, from top to bottom this division will beat you up and leave each other reeling for when the non-divisional match-up comes to town. The Giants are huge and play a very physical game. Without Barber they will be playing hard-core pounding football this year. Chicago, St. Louis, New England, Jets, Green Bay, Carolina; this is a very physical schedule! Then you have to outshoot Detroit in their house and go to Miami early? I just don't think that they will be the team they are being built up to be. a |
