I love this guy, who doesn't? After turning receiver's fingers into jelly and then gnarled, arthritic branches; hešll be hobbling himself in old age and still happy for having been able to play on the world's stage as one of the greatest ever. First ballot hall of Famer! I read once that he went fishing for the first time for a certain type of fish and caught the state record. First time out! Some people not only have what it takes but make the right decisions. He is a prince of sports and a humble, hard worker who will credit others in a heart-beat, even going down soft for a friend to get glory at his expense. Favre can play as long as he wants and it is a bit shameful that his recent general manager hasn't taken advantage of this and put an excellent team around him. It's almost like they know they're sold out and know that people will come to see Favre so they can save a little money and coast until he retires. Some vote of confidence! I like the new running back a lot and he will make an impact this year. They never should have gotten rid of the two guards a couple years ago, but, have rebuilt the line with youth and tried to embrace the new cut-back scheme that has worked so well for Denver. He has a great receiver in Driver and Jennings should come in to his own this year as well. And, I like Morency too! Unfortunately, they donšt get a break on the schedule. Even the post-bye easy teams are interspersed evenly with tough ones. What they do have going for them is Hawk! He has become the driving force of a resurgent D that gets turnovers and makes opportunities out of them. They are a sleeper defense this year and scored huge last year. Favre will give you the usual numbers and probably better then last year with, hopefully, less interceptions. I don't believe in negative points, there certainly aren't any in the real game wešre imitating, but if you're league does then you might want to stay away here. He will be available late and will be a more then adequate leader for you're fantasy team if you've let the QB position slide. In fact Alex Smith on the bench and you've got a good pair of QBs. |
