Why is he here? After taking over the team in week 11 17 he went: 37 points: 6,8,6,3,4,3,7. Projected over the whole season that's 90 points which puts him in 8th. Add a healthy Clinton Portis, a training camp to get comfortable with the offense and receivers, and another year for Gibbs to solve the winning puzzle; and you have a top 5 QB. At 6'4" 230, he certainly is big enough to dominate. No one is expecting anything out of Washington this year. I say they win the division. You heard it here first! 2-1 into the bye, they then go 8-5 and advance to the playoffs. There is a lot of talent on this team and excellent coaching. It is always the team you don;t expect; when a combination of injuries, mediocrity, and bad luck lull opponents into overlooking them. Gibbs and his staff will play chess this year and whip these men into winners and Daniel Snyder will finally see some return on his investments. After all he's already learned one lesson and that's to keep his mouth shut and let his managers do their jobs. If only Al Davis and Jerry Jones could re-learn this. |
