Last year this team did not score a touchdown on turnovers.

Not one.

Do you really think that will happen again this year?

Adalius Thomas is an amazing stud.

He can lock down an entire side of the field.

There is a lot of youth and a lot of age on this team. That's why they inked Chad Brown recently. When one old man goes down they want to be able to inject another.

New England was fifth in turnover differential and fifth in rushing defense.

Brandon Mariweather is a nice upgrade for the passing defense which was a sore spot last year. However, in training camp they will be sharpening their skills against the likes of Moss, Stallworth, Welker and Washington.

They will be better prepared for the teams they meet.

And what teams!

There are champions like land mines on the beach of this schedule, but, they should be going into the bye with a 6-3 at worst record. 4-3 after that and they finish 10-6 which will be the best record in the division. In actuality they will win a couple tough games as well and this leaves them more likely at 11-5 or 12-4 and winning tends to make better stats for everyone involved.

Junior Seau and Tedy Bruschi will both be in the hall of fame and though Seau may not play every game he will try.

These are dominating players whose abilities may be waning but their strength is now in experience, savvy, heart and leadership.

Baltimore may be feared and Chicago young and talented but New England is playing for this year and if any team ever knew the path to the Superbowl it's this one!
