Seasoned for two years, he comes out throwing for 3388 yards, 22 TDs and only 9 interceptions. Frankly he deserves to be higher then this. San Diego will probably win a Superbowl within three years. They have a fantastic defense, the league's best running back, tight end, and, possibly, O-line. Rivers is poised for a breakout. Catch him if you can. 14th last year he will most likely move up. What held him back and may hold him back again this year is the focus of the offense. That would be Ladainian Tomlinson. L.T. will probably not break his own record but he will be awesome again. He is the focus of the offense. Look at McNabb's numbers before he was injured. Notice what Manning does and the consistency of the people around him. Rivers will be good and probably great, but, he is no the focus of the offense on this team. Remember that when you evaluate each player. |
