10 wins last year. After the draft Cotchery probably wasn't on a single team. Within six weeks he was taken. He is the future of this team. Coles has always been better as a possession receiver. He has never been a red-zone scorer. Cotchery will benefit from this and should explode this year. He is officially my first receiver sleeper in this draft. He will not be taken quickly but if you want him you better decide by the seventh round and he may already be gone. Pennington is not strong, prone to injury and apparently not the most accurate. But he is a consistently competent and a good leader. He inspires loyalty and excellence. The Jet O-line must be good 'cause they were the team that let one of the greatest centers ever, leave a few years ago after stealing him from Seattle. The coaching is excellent and the defense solid. This team should not have been a surprise last year and they won't be this year. The addition of Jones only makes them better. Leon Washington is actually good and with the hard working Jones they have a legitimate rushing attack. Cotchery will be their red-zone receiver and often single covered. That said, they probably will not win another ten games. Somehow Miami will find a way to win one and two games will be hard fought but lost to the Patriots. Granted, the Jets seem to have a lucky charm against them but not this year. With Buffalo angling for the top draft choice the Jets will be playing for a wild card berth and fighting to the end of the season. This makes their players a little more valuable in itself. Cotchery is ready to be an elite receiver! |
