I am clueless as to what is going on in Tampa Bay. The more I study this team the more confused I get. This is the Cadillac's third year and I think his body is ready to play. He certainly showed some great ability originally but then the injuries set in and the last two seasons were, fantasy-wise, lost. He will be available late and his youth, and the respect this recent Superbowl team has had in recent years, deserves his choice here above other leftovers. Yes at 54 we are into the leftovers of the running back position. If you do, and you should, mock drafts then when you're looking at the fifth round and you have only one back and need a second you're left with the burning question: Ahman Green or Cadillac Williams. Williams wins. There is no real analysis here; he is simply a better risk, a calculated gamble, a higher percentage of payoff then Green or any other back available. Yes there are better sleepers, but, his payoff is huge. If they can pull together a competent offense in Tampa Bay, and Cadillac gets his grove back, then he will run wild and score in bunches. Galloway is old and Clayton is a disappointment. Pittman has never been able to utilize his promise and now he's old so the injuries will come even quicker. Even their best quarterback is going to need some help, and, I've noticed that they have been drafting O-linemen each year to grow a new dominating group. If the young line comes together, the Cadillac will roll. |
