This team scores points. If you count special team's touchdowns in your league then reverse them with Baltimore on your list. It is important in fantasy football that you know how the defense scores and rank them accordingly. I have a league that gives huge points to the defense, so much so that if I had kept them last year then I would have won a championship instead of being the third pick this year. In the Index scoring the Defense gets 2 points for every turnover and 2 points for every sack. Suddenly the 61+/- sacks that San Diego had last year look very attractive! Yes, Chicago has some questions on offense and some dissent on the defense, but, they once again, have an easy schedule and division and they should roll through their season losing only 2-4 games and probably getting a bye again. They will score and score reliably a lot! It will be very valuable to have them. My only worry is the Superbowl loser curse of late, but, I think this team is just too good and is playing with a stacked deck. Unfortunately they are playing in an age where the talent tip is to the AFC. Last year they lose to the destiny team Indianapolis. This year they will lose the Bowl to the Super-loaded Patriots; the decade's destiny team. They can beat every team in the NFC, but, would probably lose to San Diego, Denver and Baltimore as well. I can only say thank you for the championship they won me in 2005. Watch the story on their disgruntled players. I'm betting they all show up to play in order to make sure they get their money in free agency next year. |
