Marquis Colston

You have to love this kid.

Yet, we said that about Boldin too and his second yes...

The hamstring injury worries me the most. They can hang around and cause a lot of missed games and bad play. Look up Dante Stallworth's stats.

Stallworth actually got into a conditioning program designed to strengthen his hamies and that actually worked. But he left before Colston got there.

Getting rid of Horn is not a big loss but it does take away experience and professional route running. I guess he was a cancer and had to go.

Colston as a second year man will be asked to be the #1 receiver and the double teams will come his way.

There are a lot of other targets to take the heat of him though. Bush, Copper and Henderson are all great and lurking with injuries of his own is the new rookie who would love to put on a show.

Bottom line is that Brees is an excellent quarterback with a permanent chip and he will make everyone around him that much better and more valuable.

Receivers are an iffy group and to take Colston too high is just a gamble Iım not willing to take. He may be awesome and stay healthy all year, but...

This team will be a contender and serious points will come out of this. Colston is expected to be the recipient of a lot of these yet more reliable and less risky options should be drafted first.

I hope he stays healthy and does well and would definitely have him on my team again.

Keep in mind that the Saints are in an evil loop and have had difficult schedules recently, and this year is not much better.

Hopefully, out of adversity is forged a winner.
