Frank Gore

San Francisco is an emerging team. The clouds of dirty tricks and dirty money from the DeBartolo regime in the 80šs are gone, as this historic team of champions rises from the ashes of caretaker coaches and cap hell, like a phoenix reborn in the fiery cauldron of scrimmage!

Frank Gore served notice on the N.F.L. last year. This team is for real and he intends to crush you!

He has answered the injury questions by playing through them. When other backs hit the bench and the hot tub and then a party afterward, he plays through the game and hides injuries even from his coaches.

He has stood up in pride and leadership and pulled the team up by his jockstrap and given them all the fabled Steven Colbert balls!

The O-line is good and the schedule palatable, though tough.

Mike Nolan is a very good young coach and even though his forte was defense he is a quick study and learned tremendously from Norv Turner last year.

Alex Smith is rapidly becoming a good quarterback. His 2006 numbers were actually very good. He seems to find his receivers and now has a solid veteran in Darrell Jackson. (We will now find out if Jackson is infected with the dropsies or if it was the way the passes were thrown to him.)

Vernon Davis is a stud who can block and run routes better then most receivers.

The defense is improving and though they will not be going to the playoffs this year they will send tremors of fear through the spines of all their opponents, and woe be to those who ignore and look past them to the next match-up.
