He will fly under the radar this year. If Schlereth is right, and Eli Manning does not have the heart to stand up to withering New York criticism as well as N.F.L. pass rushes, then this is a silly placement. If Manning steps up and improves his game, however, them Moss in his second year has the talent to shine and take over a Steve Smith like role opposite Burress. Ironically, the new rookie is Steve Smith too and he will come out and be special, yet, a virtual clone of Moss, Moss has the advantage of an extra year in the N.F.L. The Giants are a big, physical team and can do some damage this year. With a little luck, and a Dallas collapse, they could win the division. Of course this ignores Philadelphia who will either crush everyone or collapse in the face of injury. He's a good bench choice. |
