The problem with this team is the schedule and talent. The first is tough the second is young. San Diego will win the division and Denver will challenge for the playoffs as a wildcard contender. Both Oakland and Kansas City are in the rebuilding basement. Shanahan is a genius and finally has pieces in place that look like a Superbowl contender. The trade for Champ Bailey a few years ago is looking better and better each season. Cornerback and defensive back talent is the scarcest in football and Denver has it. This means turnovers and touchdowns. Shanahan has always believed in a strong line and knows that the trenches are where you win the game. Denver will be one of the stronger defenses and will contribute through to the end of the season. |
