Joe Horn

At this point in his career he is an enabler.

He is a consummate professional craftsman.

Good conditioning, crisp routes, crafty moves, soft hands, solid veteran.

There are some attitude questions, but, with a new locker room he may be okay.

He's a good bet as a bench receiver.

I think he will produce pedestrian numbers and nothing really special.

Kind of Keenan McCardell like, but, without so many touchdowns.

And yet, maybe he goes on a tear and becomes the savior for a team that needs one.

Harrington may end up leaning on him and frankly he is good news for Horn.

Vick would have ran around and thrown a few passes, but, Harrington is running nowhere.

With very little in experienced talent at the wide receiver position on this team Joey may end up leaning on his namesake and give him a glorious season.

Like I said, he's a good bench choice.

Joey Harrington is a vet and he is being handed the reigns to an N.F.L. team that has been held back playing hybrid offense for a while.

Dunn will be gone and the second year running back has yet to prove he can handle the load.

Horn could easily become the focus of offense on this team.

But, how many points will this demoralized group put up?

Will protestors come to the games?

Will they be dogged, no pun intended, all year by the scandal that currently engulfs them?

Will they be competing for the #1 draft pick?

Will Harrington finally redeem himself and drag Horn back into the limelight with him?
